The Village at Hooper’s Bay to sponsor Bahamian Music and Heritage Festival

The Bahamas Department of Tourism today announced that The Village at Hooper’s Bay will again be a “Platinum Sponsor” for the 7th Annual Bahamian Music and Heritage Festival to be held March 17th  – 19th in Georgetown.

Ms. Charity Armbrister, Director of Tourism for the Central and Southern Islands of The Bahamas said,   “We are so thankful to all our wonderful sponsors, and we look forward to welcoming visitors to this great event.”

Brent Hurt, Managing Partner of The Village at Hooper’s Bay said,  ‘ We are pleased and honored to once again have the opportunity to be a sponsor of The Music and Heritage Festival.  This event represents so much of why we love Exuma – its people, culture and charm, and we encourage everyone to attend this fun and inspirational event. For the 4th consecutive year, we will be sponsoring The Village at Hooper’s Bay Culinary Competition, a cooking contest open to students of L.N. Cokely High School.  The contest focuses on the unique cuisine of Exuma and the Bahamas, with the winners receiving an all expense paid trip to Chicago where they will sample international cuisine and meet and discuss their winning recipes with chefs from around the world.
